Established in 2000, we have been operating for over 17 years. We are proud to call ourselves a family business and our team are in their own right, family. As family, we look after all those who come through our doors and will always provide our patients with the highest standards of care to manage and prevent injuries.
Your relationship with us is just as important as the seriousness of your visit to our practice.
If you are unsatisfied with the results or experience you have had with others, we will always make it our personal goal to help you.
Our holistic approach sets us apart from others. You can be guaranteed a thorough examination of your concerns.
We continue to strive to maintain our reputation for excellence.
At the Foot and Posture Clinic, our dedicated team members are your team. It’s in our best interest to expertly guide you through your journey of recovery and injury prevention.
We emphasize on a holistic approach and management of health conditions presented at our practice and this is where our point of difference is our strongest. You may have had experiences at other clinics where previous treatments have been unsuccessful because a comprehensive examination was not completed.
At the Foot and Posture clinic we promise that “no stone will be left unturned” when we investigate your health condition. We take pride in our approachable and friendly team, and to us this is an extremely important point: you need to trust the health professional (or anyone else, for that matter) who is looking after you and your family’s health.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a referral?
No, a referral is not necessary – but we receive many of them.
Is my treatment covered by private health insurance?
Certain services may be covered by private health insurance, and your rebate will depend on your individual level of coverage. There’s no way for us to know whether you are covered. Please check with your private health insurance provider to get a more accurate breakdown to learn if you are covered for the service and for extras within the service (for example, if the service is Podiatry and if the extras are custom orthotics).
What will happen during my first visit?
We will ask you for a detailed history and conduct necessary assessments to enable us to give you an accurate diagnosis and provide you with a realistic management plan.
What do I bring?
Please bring any X-rays, ultrasounds, MRIs, CT scans, blood flow examinations or the results of any other previously completed investigations related to your health condition.
Bring any previous devices, splints or braces you were prescribed in the past.
Bring 3 pairs of shoes that you commonly wear, and especially the one you may be experiencing pain with. Include a sports shoe, an everyday shoe and a casual shoe.
Bring shorts, or wear loose-fitting pants. Avoid stockings, as we will need you to remove them.
Please remove nail polish prior to your podiatry appointments.
What are my payment options?
We accept HICAPS payments for certain services. We also have an EFTPOS terminal service for bank card and credit card payments. We also accept cash payments.
Is there a discount for Seniors and Pension card holders?
Yes, we offer a $5 discount for these groups.
Do you offer easy access for wheelchairs and prams?
We have car access and parking on the premises for those with a disability card. Please inform our staff prior to your appointment to ensure our gate will be open for you. Parking is available on Allen Street (we are on a corner block, and there is no parking on Centenary Road) so access is safe and easy for those with prams and children.
What is you cancellation policy?
We are an extremely busy practice. If less than 24h notice is given for cancellation or you do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged half of the consultation fee.
